During November some very dedicated writers from Secondary took part in a project called NaNoWriMo - National Novel Writing Month. Each of them achieved their word count target and between them they wrote: 107 716 words in 30 days!
December is the month of festivites and at ESH we enjoy visits from both Sinterklaas and Father Christmas and this year the pupils will also be creating Christmas cheer with their own musical performances with help from the Koninklijk Conservatorium.
A message from one of our parents: Warm socks for cold feet. Please donate socks of any size and colour before school's out on 12th November. These will be sent to Lesvos and if we get enough, we will also distribute them to refugees in The Netherlands.
The ever popular cake-bake and book sale is here again. Perfectly timed for Kinderboekenweek, the school atrium will be the place to be this Wednesday from 11.30-13.30 in the atrium for cakes and books.
On Thursday, March 30, more than 230 students of the ESH participated in the Walk of Hope with the motto: 'Oneness of Humanity'. They walked from the International School The Hague to the Peace Palace.
